About/Contact
I started learning Parchment craft in the late 1990′s, after seeing a demonstration on the Carol Duvall show. Most of what I learned was from books, particularly books by Martha Ospina. After a bit, I found an online group of wonderful people that helped me learn some more. But, due to life circumstances, and being diagnosed with breast cancer, I put all my tools, books and papers away. I pulled them all out again last year (2007) and started relearning everything from the beginning. I joined one of the yahoo groups (Wightcat), which has a wonderful group of ladies. Through that list, I found my tutor, and she has set about correcting my bad habits, and expanding my creativity.
Follow along as I learn more about the art of parchment craft. Please feel free to leave any comments or even ask questions.
As of January, 2010, I am an Affiliate of the Parchment Craft Guild, having passed my first set of Guild exams.
